So Saturday morning I get to work around 7, get everything done and get out a little after 10, take a cab straight to the airport, where I waited for about an hour and a half in line at customs. Oh joy. Got through customs, then was randomly searched at the metal detector security check place. Lovely. Then more waiting for plane. The plane ride itself was fine, I quite enjoy flying actually. Landed at Laguardia at around 2, and took a cab to the venue, only 25 bucks so it wasn't too bad. Seeing as the show didn't start till 7:30, I had some time to kill. There happened to be a TGI Friday's across the street, so I went in, had a couple pints of Guiness, and some quesadillas to pass the time.
I met up with my fellow Torontonian traveller about 5 minutes before show time, and then it began. It was a blast and definitely worth the trip. My buddy introduced me to someone he knew from the area, who despite being quite the weirdo, and completely full of shit, would give us a place to stay. Hey, it was free, so why not. I slept a couple of hours on an extremely uncomfortable couch, all the while our host was up watching tv, not sleeping a wink.
Anyways, seeing as there was no food in the house, the following morning, me and my buddy went out for some food, we ended up at a taco bell in the middle of Harlem. How that happened, I'm not sure, but might as well do the whole tour of the city while I'm at it right? From there I rode the bus to the airport and pretty much hopped on a plane and came home. And that was my excitement for this weekend.
Oh, and I was denied on my credit card application, which is retarded.
The end. Bye now.
