don't you go wasting away, 'cause to me you were always something

So it's almost Christmas. Yay and stuff.

I survived the week of hell unscathed aside from being rather tired. But what else is new, really? Saturday night after work I went out and had a couple of drinks, shocking I know. Funny British guy from work came along and told some hilarious stories, which may or may not have actually been funny, but his accent made it seem so. The waitress there is rather cute, just thought you should know.

Sunday we went out to brunch for my sister's birthday, which is actually today (me pre-stuffing my face). I loves me some buffet, I'll tell you what. And today was back to work again. 'Twas a little hectic today, but overall this week doesn't look to be all that busy. And I get to look forward to two Christmas dinners, one on Friday and again on Sunday. And hopefully much alcohol consumption along with it.

But other than that, I really don't look forward to the holidays anymore. It just means spending time with people I don't want to spend time with, and many a false promise of getting together more often.

Anyways, that's enough pessimism for one entry. I hope my readers (all two of you) get some time off to enjoy the holidays, and all that junk.
